Bearing sliding surface "Fronmetal S"
Coating can be applied to any part of the surface of plates, pipes, rods, shafts, and complex-shaped objects!
"Fronmetal S" is a bearing sliding surface coated with a synthetic resin film made primarily of polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon), a fluororesin, and polyimide resin on a metal surface. It can be used in high-performance conditions (PV value of 20 kg/cm²·m/sec or higher) and is completely oil-free. Additionally, bearings and sliding surfaces combined with the coating film have a longer lifespan, improving performance and safety. 【Features】 ■ Practical in the range of -270 to +350°C ■ The backing (back metal) is coated with a synthetic resin layer with a thickness of 0.02 to 0.2 mm. The rigidity, strength, and heat dissipation of the bearing sliding surface are comparable to those of alloy bearings. ■ By providing a machining allowance, dimensional accuracy can be ensured through machining finishing. ■ The backing (back metal) can be made of steel, stainless steel, cast iron, or aluminum. ■ Provides a slippery surface to ceramic molded parts without causing damage to the counterpart. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us via fax.
